Working alongside the country’s leading pet and vet professionals, throughout the month we’ll be sharing latest advice on caring for your animal companions responsibly.

Look out for blogs, interviews and articles on rescue pets and pet friendly work places and retail spaces.

Check out our call to ditch table scraps for healthy, balanced diets and simple, but effective, steps to ensure your pet’s wellbeing, helping them to thrive.

Plus we’ll shine a light on how to find the right pet for your lifestyle and support good behaviour and training from the start.

At the heart of the campaign are our 5 key welfare needs – Companionship, Behaviour, Diet, Health and Environment – everything that’s needed to keep your pet as happy and healthy as they can be.

We’ll kick off with Companionship Week from April 1-7, before moving into Behaviour, Diet and Health and Environment weeks.

Watch out for #NPMLive shows across social media, with special guests - two legged and four - plus blogs on everything from healthy eating habits and low cost pet activities to creating safe, enriching spaces for our animal companions.

We all know the many benefits of sharing our homes with a pet, so tell us about your experiences.
